Expectations are always high,
Hope is always there -
But what if it's all just a lie?
Life's always that unfair.
I'm not so strong, when trouble's nigh,
I tend to say good-bye;
Some may call me 'perfectionist',
Some just say I'm a pessimist,
Whatever the hell, I exist,
and not just to be pissed;
I'm green with envy,
Jealousy is rife;
I have a plea
for Love and Life...
But still I cling
to standards old,
Not easily swing
for Fool's gold.
Love profound,
Me confound;
I'd like to stay
without a wound.
Live not today;
Dreams, don't decay.
