It is in this moment I saw
Pristinely, with wondrous acuity:
The iridescence of your righteous rage
mounted against the ungodly;
Flaming fire of red-whipped lashes
are strung across delicate seas,
Ambiguity forsake;
'Tis here what's plain to see!
But through the aftermath of smoke and rain
when eruptions draw scantily near,
Do you hear the pure sweet sound
of agonised mewing, dear?
For in your hasty flight depart
to put the wrong to right,
Did you not think of what will be,
The greater cost to fight?
'Ere the sun sets upon your passion
I must soothe; intercede;
For injustice never rights a wrong
but Love will, indeed!

At twilight, nature is not without loveliness, though perhaps its chief use is to illustrate quotations from the poets.
